bab is built to need as little of your data as possible. You can play without an account and without giving us your name or email.
What we store
- An anonymous device id. A random identifier kept in your browser so we can remember your daily attempt, streak, and score on this device. It is not your name and is not linked to your real identity.
- Your play data. The messages you send the guard, the outcome, and your score, so the game can score you and build the leaderboard.
- An optional email. Only if you choose to log in (to sync your streak across devices). We use it solely to send a one‑time login code and to recognise your account.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not show your raw messages publicly. The leaderboard shows only a display name you choose, the guard, and a score.
- We do not require any personal information to play.
Service providers
The game runs on standard hosting and uses AI models to power the guard. Messages are processed to generate the guard's reply and your score. Email login codes are sent through an email provider.
Your choices
You can clear your browser storage to reset your device id at any time. To delete an account or its data, contact us and we will remove it.
